OK so I make sure I update everyone here, Seamus Laguire Horncastle made is very early entrance into the world thursday evening at 9;21pm by STAT C-section due to placental insufficiency and i went into preterm labor.  He weighs 3lbs 14 ounces and is 18 inches long.  He is in the special care nursery in an incubator on IV's and moniters. 

Wow has it been rough people.......lots of things happening, and way to long to explain.  Long story short I have a severe Vitamen B12, protein, Vit D and calcium deficiency.  Got kicked out of my doctors office as a patient because I "hurt the head doctors feelings"  yeah I know, i know. 

But the most serious of late is Alex has H1N1 so my house is under quarantine.  He's being treated and therefore so must I.  5 weeks left in my pregnancy and I can't wait to be not pregnant anymore.

So wow has it been crazy here or what.

Boys started school last week, Conner in 3rd grade and Alex to kindergarten.  They both are doing great and happy.  Alex's father decided to move in with his mother 45 miles away because it's my fault that he has to pay child support.  Long story short, I was tired of going months and months without the support for him so I went down to the local collections unit and they pull it from his checks now, simple, easy no fuss no muss.  So anyhoo, it's all my fault that he had to move so poor Alex went from seeing his father 3 days a week to 3 to 4 days a month.  He's having a hard time adjusting poor kid. 

I'm still having cramping and contracting every day so I've been put on strict bedrest, can't even drive now.  *sighs*  Jim is at Fort Drum all weekend doing guard, and my sister was taken into the hospital yesterday evening with bilateral pulmonary embolisms.  So I had both her kids, 3 year old and an eleven month old who screamed for 5 hours.  They aren't on any kind of schedule and the child was utterly exhausted.  I had no diapers, bottles, wipes, clothes nothing for these kids and trying to get their father to bring me anything was like pulling teeth.  But thankfully, good friends came to my rescue with the necessary supplies and stayed with me until my Dad got home from the hospital.  It was a crazy day.

I have 13 more weeks to go with this pregnancy and it's been a really rough road so far.  Contractions every day and the back pain is getting horrid.  And of course, tylenol works...*please note and insert sarcasm here*

So I had to go and see my doctor again yesterday to make sure my cervix was still closed because of the intensity of the contarctions, they were 4-6 minutes apaprt for about 14 hours, yeah I know before anyone yels at me I should have gone to the ER btu what would they have done that I didnt do at home?  So more cultures were done, cervix closed and not leaking amniotic fluid at this time and am supposed to start another antibiotic for a possible UTI.  so all this happened when poor jim is over 6 hours away doing his guard weekend.  And I'm not allowed to do a stinkin thing.  How am I going to get my kids ready for school let alone get them to school every day?  Jim has to leave for work every day before they leave for school so I'm kinda worried about how I'm going to do it all. 

Plus all the ferrets for the rescue are housed and cared for here, and need daily love and playtime, and the housework and the rabbits and kids and cats and dog.  I can't even lift the feed bag of ferret food.  *sighs*  gods i hope i get some help here soon.  My dad is here but he can only do so much, so..............

Well peoples it's been forever I know.  Everyone knows I am pregnant, due in December and doing ok for now.  I did develop some SVT'S which after holtor moniters and echocardiograms the cardiologist decided that my heart rate and blood pressure were way to high for his liking and for the safety of the fetus so I've been place on medication to slow everything down.  Working pretty well so far, has been adjusted to a higher dose and I am responding much better to increase.  Then got placed on Nexium because of GI problems which not going into cause it's really gross!!!!  So Doctor thinks I have an upper GI bleed but am responding to meds so far, I am 17 weeks now and get to have the 4D ultrasound in a few weeks.

Jim and I have taken to rescuing weasals, LMAO we've turned into Ben and Christine!!!  Few weeks ago we got a 5 year old female ferret who was being fed weight control cat food, never out of her cage to play, nails were almost 2 inches long and she was half dead due to lack of nutrients.  Poor hunny, never given ferrets treats or peanut butter, never had a fresh banana, well we fixed that right up!!!  She had lost so much muscle mass that she couldnt stand up all the way, she had to kind of army crawl around, you could count every single one of her ribs and she was so dehydrated that she couldn't even open her eyes all the way.  Well 3 weeks later after much love and prayers and good ferret food, bananas and vitamen paste you would never guess that it is the same ferret she's doing so much better.  They had named her Slinky but thanks to our brilliant animal speaker we learned her name is Amerillis, and we call her Rilla for short.

So naturally we're in love with her and want to get her a playmate.  Christine was wonderful enough to bring a playmate a day from her brood for Rilla to be with and every time the select ferret would have to go home she would get depressed so Jim and decided she needed a cagemate.  So we started looking on Craiglists to see what we could find.

Well lo and behold we saw a listing for 5 ferrets, healthy happy and loveing that needed to go together.  Well lol whats 5 more when you already have one right?  So we go out and pick up these ferrets and Oh My Gods, the condition they were in made you want to call the cops.  Pine shavings in the bottom, a mixing bowl full of Special Kitty walmart catfood in the top, bald tails, red lesions growing on their bodies, dandruff so bad it was coming off in layers.  So we bundle them up and bring to the first people we think of naturally, ben and Chris.  Well long story short we spent 3 hours in the animal emergency room with the male sable who was in such bad shape he ended up passing on later that evening.  All the ferrets had upper resp. infections, urine burn to their tails and feet from the bedding not being changed, the female sable has no hair on her tail which usually means adrenal cancer but she could live for years, ears full of black dirt and wax, dandruff that was like it was snowing everytime you picked them up.  Nails werent clipped.  The male sable ended up having adrenal neoplasms, severe UTI, blocked urethra and prostate and euthaniasia was recommended for him. 

And all the fucking while w're letting the previous owner know whats going and on she is denying everything.  Saying that the ferrets were healthy and how do we think they're sick.  Well Gee fucking whiz when the male sable cant piss and green puss is oozing from his penis that doesnt just happen overnight!!!!!!!!  When he cant walk because everything in his ass end is so swollen and he is in such pain!!!  So needless to say we gained 4 ferrets after the male sable went home.  They're doing much better now, eating and drinking good food.  Taking their resp. treatments, got the humidifier going with Vix in it for them and they are being carefully monitered by Christine and the animal speaker fondly known as Ben LMAO!!!!

Jim and I contacted the previous owner to tell her we would be back to get the fee we paid her due to emergency vets bills and the costs of all the medication they would need, she continued to refuse that the ferrets were sick, that we must have done something to them, it was our fault and now our responsibility.  Well duh we knew they were in our care now.  So I called the ASPCA cruelty investigation hotline and had her checked out due to the other 4 cats and a dog in her apartment that she wasnt allowed to have and that they were losing weight and you could see their ribs.  teehee......teehee.....
