Well, we made it offical today. I am officially Mrs. Horncastle. We had a short sweet ceremony this morning and tied the knot. I finally got rid of that Bailey name. It's so funny , Alex keeps telling his father (Doug) that his name is now Alexander Douglas Horncastle! That is going over great!
So we are counting down now. Less than a month and my husband will be leaving to serve our country. It's been an emotionaly week here, an up and down rollercoaster.
Monday - we get the truck back YAY, pull in the driveway, ..........................now the subaru won't start..................*sighs* get the subaru started YAY!!.................thermostat in the truck blows.......*sighs again*
Tuesday - have court that evening. Turns out I was scheduled for a non judge and lawyer night so they had us all fill out paperwork saying guilty, nonguilty or reduction of charges. well naturally I checked reduction of charges!! No previous tickets, never been pulled over, car is off the road and being sold and plates have been turned in. Clerk looks it over, says ok, we'll mail it to you in about a week. YAY!!!!........step back outside, HUGE frikkin snowstorm and the drive home is treacherous!! A 15 min drive turns into a 45 one due to the high winds and blowing drifts, make it home YAY!!!!! Get in the house and my Dad says where the hell have you been your husband is out in this storm looking for you! Now our cell phones are turned off right now because we couldn't afford to pay the bill due to housing snotty little brats who will remain nameless, so we can only recieve calls but not call each other. SO i call him, tell him I'm home and to get back here safely.
Wednesday - get to work, Jim emails me and tells me that Obe has run away. *sighs*
get home, long story short find out we're losing the house.
Thursday - make an agreement, get to keep the house, WWIII is starting to erupt within families, no invitations to wedding such things as that. Not getting into it. Jim calls the shelter and someone has turned in Obe so we got to bail him out of puppy jail.
Friday - more info regarding families and such, not anyones business really but it's still turmoil and such.
Saturday - wake up, get coffee, start to get ready to get married, here a crash in the hallway and book it thinking Alex has fallen and gotten hurt. No, it can't be that simple. Our kitten Amon decided to back flip off the banister upstairs, fall the entire length of the stairs, hit the bottem and break his back foot.
So, as you can imagine it's been a very emotional week.
